Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, or cosmetic nose surgery, is a surgical procedure to improve the nose´s appearance and is the most evolved in recent years, currently enabling aesthetic and functional results that preserve its noble anatomical elements. It is indicated to promote the harmonic balance of the face and also to contribute to the improvement of the patient´s respiratory condition when needed. It acts by modifying the facial contour, while always respecting each individual’s ethnicity.

It is important to know that everyone is different, so there must be an accurate diagnosis of each nose, taking into account the anatomical aspect, racial characteristics, and functional disorders that compromise breathing, thereby offering an ideal and individualized treatment for each patient.

The recommended age for this surgery is from the age of 16, when the bones of the nose are fully formed and present a size that will be maintained in adulthood. It is important to note that if the decision is made at an early age, it should be the patient´s will and not by parental imposition.
