Gluteoplasty

Gluteoplastia

It is the surgical procedure that treats deformities of the buttocks, which may be caused by lack of volume or depressions in the gluteal region. These can be treated by inserting a cohesive silicone gel implant, which is placed within the gluteus maximus muscle in order to correct its hypotrophy and add volume to this area.

If the patient has any lipodystrophy or depression in that region, fat can be extracted from other areas with a higher concentration in the subcutaneous tissue and can be grafted there to provide a harmonious contour of the gluteal region.
